The Tax Centre Great Train Race starts and finishes at the Don River Railway. The course makes it’s way through the Don Reserve walking tracks before turning at Coles beach ( 3.5 km) and returning on the same track to the Don River Railway.

What time do I have to run to beat the train?

31/32 minutes ( Any runner who beats the train will receive a Great Train Race mug )

Prize money

1st male and female $300, 2nd male and female $200 and 3rd male and female $100.

The winners of the 7 km event both receive a trophy and perpetual plaque that stays at the Railway Station and both names will be engraved on this.
